Hi, I am Alexis Sweet.


I am a midwesterner dropped into the steamy gothic South. After growing up in the Akron, OH area, and cutting my teeth at art school in Chicago, I found myself in the marshy swamps of the lowcountry. I have been a wedding photographer based in the Savannah, GA area for over 13 years now. It's a job I love.


I also love eating raspberries, and watching mountain sunsets and Netflix (near equally). I love my dog, Eggleston, named for my favorite photographer. I love a good juke box in a carpeted dive bar. I love road trips and documenting the world we live in.


Core Beliefs

I believe all couples are deserving of beautifully documented memories. LGBTQ+ couples, fat couples, multiracial or multicultural couples, nerdy couples, the list goes on.... you're all welcome here. You don't have to look or be a certain way for me to be excited about photographing your wedding.

I also believe your images should stand the test of time. My editing is clean and warm, with a nod to the film that came before. I believe photo trends will only date your images down the line.
